IC COVID-19 RESOURCES & PLANS

SOUL-WORK FROM HOME

SOUL WORK FROM HOME - Email Header-4.png

If you have emergency needs, please email Rich (rich@letsgetinclusiveuic.org). We have set aside a limited amount of funds for acute, immediate needs of our community.

If you are a UIC student, you can also apply for U and I Care Emergency Fund and/or visit the UIC Pop Up Pantry.

The mission of the Inclusive Collective is to “Fuel Young Adults through Jesus-Rooted Soul Work.” In other words, we strive to create experiences where we can encounter God in such powerful ways that we become deeply aware of who we are, feeling inspired and energized for courageous, faithful living. Experiences that stir us up to follow Jesus, disrupt the status quo, and co-create God’s Beloved Community in whatever spaces we occupy.

COVID-19 make shake up our schedule this fall, but it will not keep us from doing Jesus-rooted soul work both solo and in community. Check back in the weeks to come for more updates about the fall regarding Small Groups, Dinner + Worship, retreats, and South Loop Community Table.

SOLO SOUL WORK

These are all tools, practices, and resources that you can do on your own.

  • Members of the IC have recorded many of our favorite spiritual practices! Go give them a listen to some familiar voices guide you in prayer and even our benediction.

  • Go listen to some of the IC’s favorite worship tunes on Spotify.

  • Here is a daily devotional called D365.

  • Instead of the ABCs, try saying the Lord’s Prayer while washing your hands to wash for the appropriate amount of time.
